How to use 3-Cups Coffee Plunger
Step 1: Place the coffee plunger on a dry, flat, and non-slip surface. Take out the plunger and add products for the infusion.
Step 2: Pour the hot liquid or the drink that needs to be mixed into the container (do not exceed the 3/4th level for the infusion contents and ½ for the ingredients that need to be mixed); insert the lid with the plunger into the container and turn it so that the spout of the glass container is closed. Let it infuse for the appropriate time period.
Step 3: Hold the container handle firmly, and, with the other hand, exert a light vertical pressure on the knob to push the plunger down. When preparing infusions, pushing the plunger down with as little pressure as possible allows you to obtain the best results.
Additional information about 3-Cups Coffee Plunger
• If the product used for the infusion is too finely ground it could clog the filter, thereby making it necessary to exert a lot of pressure on the plunger. If the filter is clogged or you are not able to push the plunger down, remove it from the container, mix the drink and then put the plunger back in. However, be careful when doing this as excessive pressure could cause the boiling liquid to flow out scalding you in the process.
• To obtain the creamy layer in mixed and shaken drinks, grip the container handle tightly, hold the lid down using your fingers and operate the plunger with alternating up-down movements.
